  • DeNoise: vdenoise GUI not found

Help from anyone appreciated: I'm using VRay 3.6 (build from March 2018, Win 7-64 Pro, Max 2019), and not able to launch the GUI version of vdenoise. I have tried launching via the Win Start Menu, CLI, and Powershell, but only getting the help text in a console window. I'd prefer the GUI if possible. Thanks!
Current workstation Dell 5820 with nVidia Quadro RTX 4000, 32 GB RAM, Win 10pro-64.
    3D software: Max 2022 (since 3d Studio), V-Ray 6, Phoenix 5, TyFlow, Deadline 10.1.

The standalone version of the V-Ray denoiser in V-Ray 3.6 does not have GUI version, only command line. You can use the denoiser from within the host apps (Max, Maya, etc) or from the command line.

    Best,
    Blago.
