V-Ray Bitmap to VRayHDRI

I was able to use the script on a small scene, with great results, but all others I have given up. I have given the script as much as 1/2 an hour and then I kill MAX. Would the script eventually do its thing or anything more than a couple minutes would be a fail anyway? If it would eventually do its thing maybe a progress bar would be good.

Yes, it does something - you can see the .exr files being created alongside the original textures. I agree that a progress bar or some other indication of the work being done would be helpful.

I watched as 582 EXR's are created very quickly, however, it stops and the script just hangs. It's been hanging for about 1/2 an hour now and nothing is happening.

I let it run for an hour and it finished. I had many not converted, so I ran it again. The second time took about 10 minutes.
