GI caustics mode for the caustics element.

HI, I'd love to be able to get a re with just the gi caustics on it.
They make a big difference in scenes with much metal. It would be cool to have them seperate for the post.
Also I'd love to have an caustics(and gi caustics) mode for the lightselect re.

You mean separating them from the VRayGlobalIllumination RE?

Yup, it could also be a mode in the gi re if you want. I'd just want to have them separate. As if you render the scene with and without them and subtract the version without gi caustics from the version with gi caustics.
But without the need to render two times of course.
Its just that, they make a hell of a difference in renders with much metal and there is no practical way to edit them separately in post.

I'll talk to the developers. There might be some complications around the RAW REs and composing everything back together.
