Objects that affect only render elements

Can I create an object that only affects render elements [ex:ExtraTex] and does not appear in the Beauty pass?

If it is transparent with Opacity, it does not appear in the element.
In the IOR 1.0 with Refraction materials, the part of the transparent object is generated in the refraction element, which makes the composition formula more difficult.

Hmm, vray builds all of it's render elements from things that it sees in the beauty, all of it's data comes from there so you might have to do a main render and a utility render with a simpler override and no expensive lighting for your extratex bits :/

After all, it seems that we do not have to render multiple times at present.

So I added this feature to the request list.
