There is another thread discussing using Vray Sun and HDRI skydome, where you can't have a visible vray sun, when using an HDRI sky mapped to the vray dome light. Yes you use the sun that is normally included in the HDRI sky, however, that particular light source, is immovable and you can't use lens effects etc.
Anyway, I made a suggestion in that thread, that it would be great if the Vray Sun and Sky systems, could also generate clouds and another member mentioned that Cinema4D had a similar system. So I am requesting a new feature, so that when adding a vray sky to the environment, you can also add various levels / densities of clouds. How difficult this would be to implement, I have no idea, but having a full blown sky creating system, rather than the cloudless gradient we have at present, would be incredibly useful.
Hopefully you understand what it is I am requesting. Have not seen the sky system in Cinema4D myself, but sounds interesting.
