I've asked this before, and the reply is "they are different renderers and we don't want people to think of them as interchangeable" - but that makes no sense.
Firstly, elements are kept when you switch between them.
Secondly, yeah, guess what, people switch between the renderers a lot - something goes wrong with GPU and you switch to CPU, or you want to see if your scene works in GPU and is faster, so you switch.
It's just a realistic version of how people actually work.
So please, at least keep the VFB settings - exposure/curves etc.
Make life easier for us - or give us a dialogue.
