    I'm moving this over here from the chaos common thread, hopefully it gets a bit more interest....

    Morning all!

    When we're working with client iterations only requiring render regions,our process after render completion (as the denoiser currently only denoises the region rather than the whole image) is to disable 'region render' in the vfb & then head over to the denoiser render element & hit update (not a massive chore but when you're repeating it multiple times it's starts to wear thin).

    So... Have we either got access to the denoiser update function via maxscript or alternatively is there any plans to add an update button to the VFB UI? Better still, is if we could set it to denoise the entire frame on completion of a region.

    Just incase it helps anyone...

    After listing the properties for the denoiser class via: show (VRayDenoiser()) we noticed that there isn't a parameter assigned to the 'update' button.

    As a quick work around we've set up a toolbar shortcut to toggle hardware acceleration in the lens effects to on (it's never off so we're thinking it'll always be non destructive) via: vfbcontrol #glarehwdacc on

    If anyone does know of a way to either directly update the denoiser or the lens effect setting via maxscript we'd appreciate the input.
