  • CUDA and RTX support for GI bounce light boosting

I know you can do this easily in the CPU rendering modes - and it'd save me a ton of time and effort if it could be enabled in the RTX/CUDA modes as well.
I know it's unlikely, but no harm in asking.
    Thanks!

Just pinging again, to see if this is even on the TBD list.

Do you mean LC calculation on Gpu?
I don't get what you mean..What is the corresponding workflow on CPU?

Sure, under gpu rendering, in Brute-force mode, you can set the multiplier for each stage of the GI rays.

I'd dearly love the ability to do this in RTX and CUDA as well.
        Thanks!

          Thank you!
I never used the multipliers before honestly, LC uses 100 bounces by default which is enough in my scenes
but there are probably use cases where people need to use the multipliers

The multiplier doesn't increase the number of bounces - it increases the *brightness* of the bounces. It's definitely not physically correct, but sometimes you don't *want* that.
