Other than a flourescent tube, which can be accomplished using a Vray Light Material, what would the use be of a cylindrical vray light? I'm curious. -

the light material has no subdiv settings.
instead of a cylindrical light i'd rather see a more advanced/optimized light material. tubes could then be easily archieved with renderable splines, also curved ones.Marc Lorenz
