tutorials files for Max 6?

tutorials in Max 6 format.....

I am really interested in the surface interface tutorial - but it appears to be a Max 7 file? Can someone set that up in Max 6?

Ok... can someone just tell me what the light setting is?
I have recreated the rest - but can't get the caustics.
