VRayDecals functionality extension deform modifiers?

It would be *super* hand y to be able to deform VRayDecals - things like curving road markings or path-following text decals would be an immense boost to productivity for me.
Is this something possible to add?

We are planning to add a cylindrical mapping mode for bottle labels and such but for arbitrary shapes I'm not sure how complicated it could be - will need to think about it.
