I know with at least VRayEnvironmentFog this is mappable, but that is very tedious to set up compared to what I am proposing.
I love VRayAerialPerspective but I feel it could be enhanced with some additional features. I propose that as opposed to Fog distance and visibility range, we could instead have the following additions:
VRayEnvironmentFog
VRayAerialPerspective
This would effectively function like the min-max values in the ZDepth pass.
And the ultimate addition to these would be the inclusion of a curve editor to affect the falloff from min to max values.
As I have argued for previously an option for VRayAerialPerspective to not affect alpha would save me SO much time. If I use VRayAerialPerspective, I always have to re-render the entire image in order to get a clean alpha. It's confounding to me that an option to avoid this still doesn't exist.
