  • More suited to "games" work by:

    1) Ability to "Render to texture" objects that have a Displacement Mod applied, so that you can create a texture or normal map for a low-poly model from a high-poly version with a Vray Displacement Mod applied to it. and

    2) Faster rendering of opacity/alpha transparency mapped planes (at least when they are not being raytraced- such as tree leaves using a shadow map or things which don't need to cast any shadows at all) Maybe something in the Vray object properties that would allow you to exclude it from raytracing but still allow it to receive GI?
