  • Copy Vray Render Settings from file

    Hello!
I'm slamming the forum with one more wish
Sometimes we develop the look of environments independently among many artist. But in the end the outcome should be the same.

We usually do start with a common scene but during the process several versions is created. To be able to have the same settings throughout the scenes it would be nice if you can copy Vray Render settings from file.

    Hi!

    You mean this thing - https://docs.chaos.com/display/VMAX/Presets ?
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

Ah ok that's why I did not find it before, we usually go with Vray GPU. Can we have same settings for GPU :P

Would be cool if the presets could load settings from a Max scene file as well. So you don’t have to open scene A , save settings, and then open scene B, load settings.

You could surely use the VFB history...
