Edit Ideas on Portal

Im using alot the Ideas Portal, but there are sometimes that I made a mistake describing or posting the idea in the correct area, the only way to do some adjustment is to reply the same post, could we have an option to edit our post ideas?

Hi, thank you for posting.
We had an edit button. Unfortunately, we saw that the edit button could be abused. In order to protect the votes we decided that it would be more fair to remove the button. This way people who voted for a specific idea are guaranteed that the idea will stay the same from the moment it was posted.
We understand that it is not the most convenient way, so please take your time when submitting an idea. Do research, add images, and choose clear requirements to describe exactly your wish. Describe how you would like something to function.
If you have a particular idea that you want to move into another category, let us know in the comments of this idea. Sometimes we also move ideas, if we see that they were published in the wrong category.
