  • Super Dooper DR

I know people have asked about DR working with BB. Don't know if that is feasible or not. But I would *really* like to be able to submit a job to DR without the submitting computer participating.

    A notch above that...
Would be awesome to have a viewer app I could run on my machine in the background. When I submit a job to the VRay-DR-Manager, specified computers would started banging away at it, but mine would not be included unless I wanted it to. I could then click on the VRay-DR-Viewer in my taskbar to view the image's progress.

    That would be sweet.

What more would anyone need? A scalable net-render that would use every bit of the processing power in your render farm whether you are rendering one or one-thousand images. We can wish

EDIT: I have been experimenting with batch rendering using DR, and actually with a little success, but there seems to still be quite a few bugs to work out for a permanant, reliable solution. It is a step further in the direction of unattended scalable render farm use.

EDIT2: A little incentive for the guys at chaos, if DR could be done through backburner, it would become such a strong selling point for an already superior package, elevating the VRay render engine from a want to a necessity for a lot of firms that are serious about their 3d graphics. Of course, everyone here already realizes the necessity of VRay
