exclude lights from refl.

Hi all.
dond't really know if its maybe a wish for max.
but would find it really helpfull, if you could exclude objects also from reflection/refraction in the exclude option in Vraylights.



i have a scene, where i want the light to emitt specular, exept for one object.
so maybe its possible?

not really, in this case you can exlude reflections/refractions per object.

Morbid Angel - it does it for the whole scene which isn't helpfull in some situations - would be very nice if this was available on a per-object basis.

But isn't reflection/refraction more of a material property then a light property? It seems to me this checkbox should appear in the material editor and there should be a little "exclude" button near the reflection/refraction parameters of the material.

Could be done both ways I suppose. Just so long as you can isolate one object (or matl) in the scene.

actually such thing is possible in mr, each mr shader has a light link built into it. And since in mr each of the layers such as diffuse spec and reflection is its own shader they can all be separated on per light basis. It gets complex though.
