  • preLoad IR map toggle for netrender

I just leant the hard way that you can't stop and then continue a IR precalc on backburner using incremental add to current map.
The first chunk of IR calculations were overwritten when I restarted the job. Doh!

I couldn't find any setting that forces max to reload any pre-existing IR map prior to contiunuing a IR job. It would be pretty handy if you could tick a box to ensure the IR map is added to any pre-existing IR map.

    Is this possible to impliment?

I assume the current workaround is to render seperate IR maps, then combine them with the viewer once they're calculated.

    I 2nd this!

I don't know how many times I've had a render node render 20 frames and then crash, retry the job and overwrite the previous map. The only way around this has been to setup the manager to not retry jobs on failure but then this kills productivity when nodes that are rendering frames randomly crash and then sit there until someone comes in and restarts them on the job.
