  • support for max's matte render element

We've found this render element hugely helpful for our work flow and it would be great to have it in vray. you can generate clean b/w mattes with nice anti-aliased edges based on material ID, object ID, or through a selection set.

I know that Dieter (dimo) wrote a render element for V-Ray that could do just that based on object IDs; I suppose that you can contact him if you are interested.

        Hi,

This was an internal plugin at mackevision and I can't send it out, because I am under NDA for this. Sorry for this.

        Best regards,

        Dieter

You are right, of course; I suppose it would be good to have something similar built into V-Ray at any rate, so we'll see...
