  • Ambient occlusion

Is it possible to include in future some functions to make ambient occlusion like this script?

    http://plugins.angstraum.at

If you can improve it to permit ambient occlusion calculation working with displacement it will be very helpfull.

    Thanks

You can make ambient occlusion with a dirmt map, but you have to change materials, or use an override material, and change light setup.

I like this script because I have to click on two buttons and it's right. It's time saving and prevent errors.

hmm, well all you really have to do is create a vrayLightMat, connect vrayDirtmap to it and place that into material override, 3 clicks and you are done..

yes but in this case, i can't use displacement and ambient occlusion.

That's why I ask for it. to be able to render occlusion with displacement, whitout having to take my shaders one by one to modify diffuse.

why not? if you have vray displacement mod on the actual geometry, not on the shader then this method will work.

              yes that's true.

I always use it in the shader, and i forget that it's possible to use it directly in model.

              Sorry.
