  • Start/Stop Vray License Server Button in Render Dialog

Since the implementation of the dongle it would be great to be able to Start/Stop the license server from within the Render Dialog under the Vray:authorization rollout.

You can already set the license file why not be able to Start/Stop the server?

Currently I have a scripted button to do this but it would be great if the function was integrated.

Hmm, I can understand why you would want a start button, but what is the point of a stop one?

    Best regards,

I guess you don't need a stop. I thought for the purpose of refreshing the license server.

If I pull the dongle with max open I am still able to render.

Which I guess is normal behavior, my Fusion dongle works the same way, I can still run Fusion after I pull the dongle while it's running. Forget I suggested a stop button

The license server periodically checks for the dongle, so if you pull it out, it will take some time for it to realize it. Same with plugging the dongle in while the server is running.
