  • Local Detail enhancement.

    Hi,

I have a couple nature scenes right now and it would be good to have something like a Local Detail-enhancement (like a "Consider in detail-enhancement" in vray properties) or an exclude list for it.

There a lot of trees/plants which really dont need this extra and I would like to exclude, but for the buildings it would be good to have.

Controlling this via Material (maybe fray-dirt) isnt a real solution, because my buildings have are made of a lot of objects and materials.

What do you guys think about it ?

    - Bye Markus

PS: I strenght value for Detail Enhancement would be nice too!! right now you can only control the radius and the quality

For the local detail enhancement I'll think about it; however there is no easy way to define "strength" for the DE; it is not an ambient occlussion pass that is overlayed on top of the regular GI solutions like in other render engines. In V-Ray the detail enhancement is the same as the regular GI in terms if its color - it is just more accurately calculated.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
