do you think its possible to be able to get the archdesign material to work inside vray without conversion. it would sure improve interoperability with revit.
im not asking for all the cool features vray mats have but just core support to get renders out.
We are working to support the Arch & design material, but this will not help with Revit stuff. The Pro materials must be coded separately - each and every one of them, with every single option considered. They are built on top of the Arch & design mental ray shader internally, not on top of the 3ds Max Arch & design material as such. So that's quite a lot of work... there are 14 or so Pro materials, and each has quite a few options...

Hello Vlado...
Arch & Design Mat will be free of charge... like sp3 or in the next version... or something else ?
It's been there since a long time now - V-Ray will render Arch&Design materials directly without the need to convert anything. V-Ray does a render-time conversion automatically under the hood.
