  • VFB Multiple Lasso Region Render

I have an image I rendered. A couple buckets dropped texture - now I'm going around my image one by one trying to find the corresponding points and rendering just those sections.

I realize this doesn't take long. But I thought it would be great if there were some Lasso/Marquee tools that you can render specific regions with available in the VFB and reprocess directly from there.

There is some planned region rendering functionality for the VFB, but I do not know when it will appear.

    Best regards,

there was a script written once which would take spline based object and make that into a region.

I would like that crop works with DR also, I don't know if I'm right, but it seems like crop rendering uses less memory than a region.

and also a render inverse to this for when you've rendered a region and it looks good and you want to render the whole lot now, but you may as well skip that part of the image and save time

Complex regions would be a life saver. I often have to create multiple version of images, sometimes only changing subtle details. If the objects affected are scattered around the frame, though; I either have to painstakingly monitor the entire process, selecting new regions over and over; or re run the entire image.
