  • VRay Animated proxy animable speed/frame

    Hi,

first of all I love the new animated Vray proxies.

What would make them even more amazing would be this feature:
The possibility to animate the actual frame or playing-speed (animating the offset would also work), which now isn't animable.

I love Vray SP2 keep up the good work !!!
    Valentin

...forget Warp 9, engine-room please switch to Vray-speed...

Good point; I think the speed would be somewhat difficult to animate, but it should not be an issue to make the offset animatable.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

Make the playback speed relative to the distance a looping proxy moves. If you have walk sequence (in place) that loops each 2 steps, you can give the step size/distance as input and the plugin calculates what proxy frames are rendered depending on the distance the proxy moves !! Then you simply move/animate the proxies position or bind them to particles. This way you can easily make crowds...(BTW this has already been requested)
