  • Vray VFB + Scanline EXR

    Hello,

Sorry for posting this request again but I don't find the previous post.

Is it possible to add a scanline exr format to VFB because it's such a pain to convert all Vrimg to EXR...

I know that the compression used in vrimg is memory saver... But vrimg are ultra-slow with Nuke for example...

And the command line to convert vrimg to exr is not that easy to use and not very time saver...

    Hope you'll understand...

    Best regards...

It has been requested before, but I don't know how much of an issue this is (there are workarounds for now); it requires quite a bit of additional coding though.

      Best regards,
      Vlado

in case you don't already know, if you associate the .vrimg file format with the vrimg2exr.exe tool, it converts every file with a doubleclick in the explorer.

We are currently working on a free GUI for Vrimg2exr with all options...
