Id like to have a material (or a vray object property or probably best of all, a render element) where the alpha of the reflective object is derived from the material it reflects. Or if you approach it from the other side, a material where the alpha is set to 0 when it reflects the enviroment.
This would be very useful when rendering in layers with a reflective floor for example, where using screen to comp several reflections isnt an option.
Atm the moment we're forced to render out a seperate render where the reflected object is set to be white and 100% selfilluminate, not visible to camera and with the ground floor there and then using this as a alpha for the reflectionrender.
