  • FrameBuffer Textfield

    Hi all,

there just GOT to be a little textfield on the VFB-Screens!
Especially if you work with dublicated Frame Buffer-Screens during little Render tests.

there is enough room next to the "Track mouse while rendering" -Button

    looking forward to it !!!!

    all the best,

    Michael

I'm confused, why not use the frame stamp feature located in the System tab.

      - Time efficiency!
      - you can't change the stamp if it is rendered!

What do you need to change after it's rendered? I'm curious and enthralled.

You can edit the stamp directly in the frame buffer you know; even after the image is rendered.

If you click on the downward arrows in the bottom right corners of the VFB, it will expand with a text field and additional stamp controls (enable/disable, set font and color, position etc).

          Best regards,
          Vlado

... that dry sarcasm was just not what i was looking for on this forum!
There is always one guy that is out on marking people.
I assume that Moongoggie already knew what Vlado wrote later on. But NO, sharing that information was just too easy (my attempt of sarcasm ). There had to be another more hostile way!

but I dont want to blow that into sth that it is not!

                    be good

I say I was curious because I had thought you had thought of a new use of using the frame stamp feature and was enthralled to hear what it was.

For what it's worth I didn't realize that you could change them _after_ rendering as Vlado points out, I only knew you could do it pre-render using the frame stamp feature. I didn't intentionally not answer your question.

... then please accept my apologies for my wrong interpretation.

Why i was in need of that feature:
Sometimes i have up to 5 clones of the FB open. It happend just too often that i have to add a few thoughts to the clone or just even a name for the identification who is going to work with that image later on. Usually i put that in the filename during saving that preview.

I hope there are no hard feelings.

                        all the best.
