vray light and vray ies

Sorry if this was already asked, I did search first...

I would love the VRayIES lights to have the option of being visible, just llike the vraylight plane or sphere. On the same note, will there ever be the option of choosing DISC as the type for standard vray lights? It would be a time saver in some cases like recessed "can" lights.
