  • lock displacement negative shift option

    Hi Vlado,
In displacement there is an amount value, and negative shift value. Usually a user has to specify a negative shift to be about a negative half of the amount. What we typically do in maya (also possible in max) is write an expression that takes care of it. Would it be possible to add a lock button to lock the negative shift with a negative half of the amount to the amount slider?
That would be quite handy and simplify workflow for many users.

Yes, someone suggested this before, so we'll think about it.

    Best regards,

Almost as handy as an exposure lock for the physical camera

Yes. Good to see this suggestion come up again. I'm tired of wiring those spinners together manually.

it gets to be a hassle for sure. Since the way wiring dialogue is made its difficult to navigate to your connected nodes each time you open it.
Also if you have a junior artist figuring things out, it might be difficult for them.
