I just noticed that VRay render region is related to pixel instead of viewport!
For instance, let's say that you are working low resolution and then comes the time to double check some portion of the image with high res; you could easly use region to point to the desired detail and then change resolution but actually what happens is that vray deletes the frame buffer (and that's ok) but the following region render is in a totally different position from the expected one, I suppose because is related to the image coordinates system and not scaled to compensate the resolution changes.
So my wish is to have region working always in the same position independently from resolution.
In the meanwhile, my workaround is to start an high res and stop it; only after that use region and then re-start rendering
