  • VRIMG tweaks

I know both have been discussed/requested before, but I'd like to bump them both...

    1) compression in .vrimg files so that they are more competitive with .exr for file sizes. Because of some Bburner issues with large files I'm back to using .vrimg and they are 4-5X larger than .exr (recent files are >1.2GB

    2) a really basic Photoshop plugin to read .vrimg files directly would be awesome. I have and use the vrimg2exr utility and Shimikaze's great .bat gui version, but it adds a step that can be quite slow for large and numerous files. To make full use of the .exr format you also need ProExr (which is yet another $100 for a micro-portion of the workflow) and it would great to bypass that step altogether.

Nothing earth-shattering, but helpful all the same.

What's wrong with writing EXR's from the vrimg field? You can just add the .exr suffix to the end. Or is that's whats causing the problems.. ?
