  • VrayLight - Face IDs for meshlight

    Hi,
    is possible to add an option for choosing which part of mesh should be in mesh mode of VrayLight ? For example, you have a detailed lamp, which have a element of lightbulb, but you cant now select the lightbulb to be source for mesh light, only the whole object - so the choosing would be based on face/poly IDs.

    maybe I missed something but why you don't use a submaterial?

      zeronove - if you refer to VrayLightMtl in Direct Mode, then in this scenario, VrayLightMtl is limited in it`s settings, and also don`t work in multisub/vrayblend.

        You are right, I forgot about it, sorry ...but as far as I know this should be only a temporary limit (bug?); to me it doesn't make any sense exclude it forever from multisubs/ blend, I firmly believe next SP will solve it
