  • Slaves only..

A wish that has been mentioned before im sure, but to exclude the workstation from the DR render, so only slaves will render on your machine, leaving you free to carry on modelling ..

Oh second wish again a hot favourite for me and that is DR for LC .... it takes the most time in the whole rendering process for us and it would revolutionise the way we can work...

In fact, even in with the RT, the client machine starts a render process locally - it just doesn't do any calculations to contribute to the final result. We could do the same for the regular V-Ray, but that would still tie up your 3ds Max with the rendering.

            Best regards,

I've been playing with this, where a light cache pass can be handed to a machine in the network; the only problem remains to figure out how to determine a good number of passes.

                Best regards,

Can it not be done with time, so you will set the LC to 10mins of baking per machine, then they send it back ....
