This would speed up rendering in farms with mixed ram levels for DR and for backburner.
Perhaps it could be set via the distributed rendering node settings options instead of globally via the raycaster params.
I don't know if it really needs explaining: But currently I have machines in my farm with 8gb ram and some with 12gb.
I can set my dynamic memory limit to 10gb and render faster with the new nodes, and run out of ram on the old nodes... or i can set it to 6gb and the old nodes wont page out but the new nodes will not use anywhere near the ram they have available.
If it was settable per node then they would be all running at optimal speeds.
