      I think in this way.

      You set a region like a normal render region but you want to render all outside the region you create not the area inside.

          Thats the one. It could be good for rendering building in a tree heavy scene. You could region render your subject with high settings then invert it for your trees on a low setting. This is just one example, but it could be a very useful option. Same as inverting a selection in Photoshop.

            Then, ad 'multi region' ... draw severals rectangle region to render ...

              I'd even add on this one, and say it would be great just to re-render a certain objects boundary...

              i.e. have an object selected and have an option just to re-render the single object while keeping everything else in vray frame buffer memory or alike..
