  • vrayDirt with colorbleeding

Im not sure if this been discussed before, but anyways I'd like to see vraydirt that not just calculates the distance from nearest polygon but also takes the color of that polygon into account, creating a faked color bleeding. Similar to mental rays arch & design materials AO where you can click "use color from other materials".

It might make more sense if we add this to the AO options in the GI settings, rather than in VRayDirt.

    Best regards,

That would be nice aswell but it wouldn't serve my purpose. What Im trying to do is getting an alternative to GI, using ambient light with vraydirt in the lightmap slot. Im getting some pretty good results but I think it would really improve with colorbleeding in the dirt.

Hm, well in newer versions you can specify radius for the GI, which would pretty much do what you need.
