    Well, its kinda self explanitory. So that i can make explosions done with combustion or afterburn or something like that to cast more GI light into the scene.

    Yes I also agree, this would be very nice indeed
    Kind of hard to get it too work as it is.
    However im not sure how hard to coding of this would be, however i personally would welcome it.

      I'll second the wish

      I've wanted this for some time, right now it's very difficult to get sufficient light from an atmospheric.

      I would also like it to be possible to NOT have atmospherics render yet still be able to have them cast shadows on matte objects. Maybe if render layers get implemented.
