  • Is there any way to make the multi mattes default as TGAs?

In our company we use the Vray Multi Matte element very often. We also use other Element passes such as diffuse GI Reflection ect..
Sometimes we have as much as 10-15 differnt multi mattes in one scene not including the other passes.
After setting up the render elements we save it as a preset which we'll use on numerous occasions.
Here's the problem. After i set my main pass to EXR and set it to its proper render folder i load the preset. Once the preset is loaded all the passes become EXRs. So now i have to go into the multi matte path and change them to TGAs.
In addition if i had already rendered a scene that has the multi mattes changed to TGAs and need to re- render the scene into a different folder the the TGAs do not path to the new folder. Instead it stays pathed to the original folder.(See Example)
So again i have to manually re-path the multi mattes to the new folder.
As you can imagine if i have to 10 different shots to render that means i have changes these matte paths at lease 150 times..

We do this because EXRs take too much memory in after effects and it slows down our comps. Plus there is no need to have the multi mattes as high res EXRs being that they are just RGB renders.

Is there any way to make the multi mattes default as TGAs?

    Thank you for any input.

Figured work around with this problem...just use the asset manager to re-path the TGAs
