  • unplug dongle to work in demo mode

would be nice if vray could still work in demo mode when you unplug the dongle (or the dongle gets stolen or stops working for whatever reason). For example one person could take the dongle to another site, while somebody else this side goes on assigning materials and things to the scene and don't care about the watermark but just need to do test renders.

Then when dongle is back it autodetects and fully renders without watermark.
    Kind Regards,

Vlado, is something like this at all possible?

Hmm. "Assigning Materials" does sound like production work, and would be rather weird if you wouldnt need a license for that i'd say, even tho technically prolly possible. In addition the demo mode has other restrictions (like resetting settings on save) that would make this a rather weird workflow.

Makes sense Thorsten. I will just have to suffer for now I guess.
