  • VRIMG 2 EXR - Extract All Layers from VRIMG File

Hi Guys, I've searched the forums for this before I decided to post this thread, I'm looking for a Tool that extracts all the layers from a VRIMG file right away in to EXR'S.

None of this extract each one individually, plus I also like to rename the layers in Vray so I know which each one is, plus my multi mattes are named "123" "456" etc... and I usually have 3 or 4 of these.

I have not seen any application that does this right away or an application that is up to date with the latest Vray I use.

I do not want to use any plug in's for PS, I just want a free bit of kit. Will Vray's VRIMG 2 EXR get a make over? - Lets face it guy it's the oldest bit in the package and would save me loads of time!

    Cheers

    Adam

It is not particularly difficult to write a .bat file or something to extract the render elements; the reason it is not done automatically is that people usually have different requirements for such a feature - like in your case, you want the resulting files to be specifically named, whereas other people will likely need something else (like putting them in different folders etc).
