Hi Vlado and team,
This is my wish:
U know how some of us will render a irradiance map at a lower
resolution, say 480x360, and then use that saved irradiance map
to render a higher resolution final image, eg 800x600?
trade-off being speed vs quality.
well this is fine for still images.
but i was wondering if you could somehow have a setting
to decouple the
irradiance map and final image resolutions ,
ie, being able to specify at render time the resolution of the irradiance
map, and the final image resolution.
this wld be good for animations where the 'single' irradiance
map option is used.
does this make sense? or shld i just lower my irradiance map
sampling rates when i render at higher image resolutions to save
time?
