  • Toon shader and Vray

What are the available solution for having toon rendering with vray ?
(I dont speak about tweaks like vrayedges or falloff)

I'll work in archi viz, and i'd like to use some toon compositing rendering.
But the tests i've made with the only one solution i have (Ink'n'paint) are very poor (max ink has annoying settings and a very strange way to understand toon).

I'm not asking something like finalToon, but i'd like to get some decent outline and overlaping lines.
    Is that possible ?

hmm if its not too complex and you have advanced/demo u can play with rendering with vray mat, with some transparecies, then reuse imap and put some toon mat on it, and see what comes up. I did this with vray/standard and it was looked fine to me. Actually I might try this.

I've been playing with the demo version of Illustrate 5.2 lately & it works very well with VRay. You can use the Illustrate materials to render with VRay, or use Illustrate as the renderer for the lines & VRay to render the fills.

        Very effective & intuitive.
