Remote Spawner Initialization

Dave- thank you for the reply. the spawner was not installed as a service due to the processes it imposes while a computer is not being used- hence i was looking for a remote way to initialize this on other comps as a standalone. sorry about the confusion. I'm looking forward to installing it later as a service and then give the script a test run.

A solution would be to just install the spawner as a service and to set it to manual startup mode..

Ahh.. i see.. If you set the service to be Manual.. then it doesn't use any resources until you start it by hand.. (or script)

just out of curiousity, is there a way to remotely start/stop an entire farm with one click by adding multiple comps to the parameters?

Dave aka syc- I found this little shareware tool from what I read handles vbscript. plus it'll compile it into an executable format. Unfortunately, I don't have the time right now to mess around with it. Should help you avoid installing M$ Orifice. I wish I knew VB script- I'd write a little GUI ditty for everyone that could let you define/save presets of spawners. And if I had half a brain (as well as the time) it would include security measures to avoid spawnploitation:
