I lost a whole weekend render, just because i saved my pictures as rla-files and forgot to enable the effect channels in the Vray Settings.
Vray crashes Max on saving the images, so no picture was saved.
I find that a shame!
It is a known bug since more then 1 year! And no fix done yet.
It would be so easy for Vray to check on renderstart what channels are enabled in the RLA/RPF settings and just do the same in the Vray settings. The scanliner and even mentalray can do this.
This bug is going to kill everybody who uses a preset Manager or Max 6.
Why not enabling every effect channel by default?
So please after reporting this several times, do something!
