Standalone renderer for Linux?

I don't know if this is possible but it sure would be nice to be able to set up a renderfarm using Vray on Linux boxes. I have no idea how hard it is to port your renderer to another OS but it would be great to give Microsoft the finger on this one.

sounds good. but this would mean no max netrender, but a propietary netrender, right? besides from a port to linux. sounds temting, though.
