glossy reflection blurred/interpolated

glossy reflections could be more flexible/faster if there was
some kind of blur/interpolation/filter option to be able to tweak
quality vs. speed.....is that possible?

Hmm... I don't get it. Why wouldn't the interpolated glossies that already are implemented serve this purpose?
Under the settings thingy at the bottom of the material UI, you can adjust the interpolation quality settings.
Am I perhaps completely missing the point here?
