  • Rule of thirds

When using the VRayPhysicalCamera to make my shots, I always aim to be photographically correct and I just thought a nice feature would be have a "show 'rule of thirds' cone" within the camera view.

    Just an idea.

The rule of thirds isnt like a 'you've got to be less than 5 pixels away or it wont work' kind of rule, it's a bit more general.

viewport configure, safe frames. or a viewport background image.

I'm well aware of the fact that you needn't be that close, I thought it'd be a nice helper object rather than something worth mocking. Suit yourself.

You can do it in the max viewports. Or with a background image. Both would be easier than using a helper object.

You might want to give this script a look:
