Mental Ray Env Blur equivalent?

I'm a long-time vray user but have always been a fan of Mental Ray's Env Blur feature. It's great for glossy materials that really only need to blur env maps. It's a great cheat that saves a ton of render time. Really wish V-Ray had an equivalent. Is there some cheat I'm not aware of?
