    Not sure if this has ever been mentioned but I have seen in Octane you can pick where you want to focus by clicking on an area within the rendered image, it then applies DOF in real time. IMO This would be a great feature for V-Ray RT

    I think there was a script somewhere that allowed you to do similar things - i.e. if you click in the viewport, it will adjust the camera target to bring that part in focus.

        I mentioned this awhile back, but I never heard about the script. I know of the script that let's you pick a focal, but it doesn't give you a preview of the DOF effect. If you find it, please share.

          That's the one; V-Ray RT will do the preview...
